Cy Ranch – The preseason No. 1 Mustangs opened the season going 4-1 at the Spring Branch ISD Tournament. Cy Ranch defeated preseason No. 5 Cy Fair, preseason Top 40 Klein Collins, 5A Regional Semifinalist CC Carroll and a competitive Houston Memorial squad. Their lone loss came at the hands of George Ranch in a 4-3 game. Cy Ranch will take on the Katy/Morton Ranch Invitational this weekend.
 

Runner Up
Flower Mound – The Jaguars put together a 4-2 weekend at the Kingwood/Kingwood Park/Atascocita Tournament, with nice wins over preseason No. 3 The Woodlands, preseason No. 13 Atascocita and 5A Regional Finalist (now 6A) Tomball Memorial. Flower Mound dropped a tough game to 5A preseason No. 12 Kingwood Park at the start of the weekend but recovered nicely. Next up the Jaguars will compete in the DFW Clash.
 

Honorable Mention
Laredo United South – The Panthers are off to a 6-0 start to the season after sweeping five games at the Border Olympics, including a big win over 5A State Semifinalist CC Veterans Memorial. United South outscored opponents 55-24 and fought to come out on top in some very competitive contests. The Panthers hope to keep things rolling this weekend at Mira’s Tournament.
