Pitchers

Tanner Doucette,

Sr., Cooper

Doucette finished the year 10-2 with a 1.96 ERA. In 892/3 innings pitched, he recorded a total of 90 strikeouts and had a WHIP of 0.975.

Kiefer Schellhase, Sr.

Shallowater

Schellhase was 8-1 on the season with an ERA of 1.25. He allowed only 24 runs on the year, 13 of which were earned.

Shane Browning, Sr., Lubbock High

Browning recorded an ERA of 1.88 while going on to an 8-1 record on the season. He struck out 78 batters in 742/3 innings of work.

Catcher

Darby Thornton, Sr., Idalou

Thornton hit .432 on the season with 31 RBI for the state-bound Wildcats. He also scored 55 runs and stole 14 bases.

First baseman

Koby Claborn, Jr., Frenship

Claborn batted .412 for the year with 31 RBIs and 24 runs. He also slugged 22 extra-base hits (15 doubles, six triples, one home run).

Second baseman

Collin Isbell, Soph., Idalou

Isbell hit .425 with three home runs, seven doubles, 33 RBIs and 32 runs. He was also smooth in the field with a fielding percentage of .922.

Third baseman

Chris York, Sr., Lubbock High

York finished with 52 RBIs on the year with a batting average of .462. He also had 23 extra-base hits (15 doubles, seven triples and one home run) and scored 37 runs.

Shortstop

Michael Davis, Sr., Lubbock High

Davis hit .443 and drove in 30 runs this past season. He scored 40 runs, had 18 extra-base hits and stole eight bases for the Westerners.

Outfield

Jordan Salas, Soph., Cooper

Salas was named to the all-tournament team at state after tying the record in the semifinal game with four hits. He finished the season batting .302.

Chace Sarchet, Sr., Frenship

Sarchet hit five homers on the season, while batting .402 and knocking in 36 RBIs. He also scored 42 runs and slugged .664.

Cody Berryman, Shallowater

Berryman hit .442 on the season with 39 RBIs, 39 runs and 17 extra-base hits. He was near-perfect in the outfield for Shallowater with a .972 fielding percentage.

Designated Hitter

Colman Hendershot, Jr., Coronado

Hendershot hit .407 on the season with a total of 13 extra-base hits, 18 RBI and 23 runs scored.
