He has taken Buda to the Regional Finals in 1984 and has taken Jasper (2002), Alvin (2008) and Lake Travis (2015) to the Regional Semi Finals.   Currently, Lake Travis is 16-1-1 overall and 6-0 in District and is ranked #8 in the THSB 6A State Poll.

Coach was selected as THSBCA All Star Coach in 2000 and in 2004 was selected as the Fox Southwest Coach That Makes A Difference.

Upon reflection of his 600th win, Coach Rogers stated “The 600 milestone is more about the great players and communities that I have had a chance to work with.  I have been blessed to work with several great Districts and Athletic Directors that have my job easier.  Of course, the greatest reward is the relationships you develop with the players.”

THSB congratulates Coach Rogers on this noteworthy accomplishment.
