North All-Stars 3 1 0  0 0 0  2 1 – 7
South All-Stars 0 2 1  0 0 5  0 3 – 11

The South All-Stars scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th to grab a lead they never lost as they went on to win 11-7 over the North All-Stars in the THSBCA All-Star Contest.

The All-Star Game, held at Round Rock’s Dell Diamond stadium, was scheduled for 9 innings but was shortened to 8 as 2 rain delays pushed the game late and a potential conflict with the 7:00 PM AA Round Rock Express game.

The North All-Stars scored 3 runs in the first inning and held that lead through 5 innings. In the bottom of the 6, the North pitchers walked 4 batters with the bases loaded to help the South score 5 runs and take an 8-4 lead. The North scored 2 runs in the 7th and 1 in the 8th to make it an 8-7 ball game but the South scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th and the game was called because of time.

Katy’s Taylor Cox was named the MVP of the All-Star Game. In 3 at bats, he was 2-2 with a BB with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored.
