THSB Player Profile: Jordan Groshans, Magnolia HS

Jordan Groshans is a 6’4”, 197 lb, Senior Shortstop from 5A Magnolia HS. He has committed to the University of Kansas.

Groshans hit .447 as a Junior with 8 2Bs, 4 3Bs, and 10 HRs. He had 28 RBIs and scored 29 Runs and had a .560 OBP. He was also 3-1 on the mound with 34 Ks. He was a 20-5A First Team All-District Infielder selection and was also named to the 1st Team All-USA Baseball Team.

Groshans had an active summer. He played in the Tournament of Stars in June, was selected to play in the Under Armour All-American Game in July and homered in the Perfect Game All-American Classic in August. Jordan also played for the Texas Rangers Area Code Team.

As a sophomore Groshans hit .385 with 12 2Bs, 3 3Bs, 5 HRs, 18 RBIs and 26 Runs. He was a 19-5A All-District Shortstop.

He is the #1 ranked player in Texas by Perfect Game among 2018 graduates and is ranked #9 nationally.
